About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Communications Director to join our team at Theprnet. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our corporate communications initiatives and developing strategic plans to support our clients' goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Account Strategy and Team Management
  • Develop and implement comprehensive corporate communications strategies for our clients.
  • Lead and manage a team of communications professionals to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to account teams to ensure alignment with client goals.
Team Management & Development
  • Oversee team resourcing and make decisions regarding work assignments.
  • Manage team capacity and make decisions around additional resourcing or team needs.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
Client Relationships
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met.
  • Develop and implement client communication plans to ensure effective stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
  1. 6-8 years of experience in corporate communications.
  2. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful corporate communications strategies.
  3. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  5. Knowledge of the BC provincial, municipal, and federal political and legislative landscape.
  6. Deep relationships in the Vancouver/BC corporate, political, and media landscape.
  7. Exceptional creativity and a great eye for a story.
  8. Excellent writing skills; ability to weave current events, policy news, trends, and data into insightful content for clients.
  9. Ability to manage priorities and balance a deadline-driven workload with complete accuracy.
  10. Strong attention to detail; pride in high-quality, client-ready work.
  11. Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to contribute in a high-performing team environment.
  12. Values humility, ingenuity, humour, and integrity.
What We Offer
  • Salary Range $90,000 - $105,000 (based on experience)
