Sales Category Analyst

Spinrite, the leading craft yarn and sewing thread company in North America, is seeking a skilled Sales Category Analyst to drive growth and execution excellence in our Sales team.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain effective forecast models at the SKU level, leveraging shipment history, POS trends, retailer inventory position, and policy changes.
- Communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
- Analyze customer and marketplace POS to identify insights driving customer category and share growth, ROS, and pricing recommendations.
- Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies, communicating significant changes to supply planning teams.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly analysis of Point of Sale (POS), shipments, and retailer inventory levels, highlighting findings and making recommendations.
- Collaborate with the Forecast Manager and Account Managers to share and discuss information related to assigned accounts.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, as well as visualization tools like Power BI.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills, with a curious mindset and passion for data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and organization.
- Previous experience with Sales Analytics and/or Demand Planning is an asset.
