About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Scheduler to join our Alternative Projects Centre of Expertise (APEX) team at Pomerleau Construction. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving collaboration and ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
  • Collaborate with project managers and support consultants to identify and troubleshoot key project issues.
  • Analyze schedule data to identify variances and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Lead and support project teams with client schedule-related meetings.
  • Apply project-specific safety standards to promote a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of hands-on scheduling/planning experience in the construction industry.
  • Completed a construction-related certificate program, diploma, or degree.
  • Strong knowledge of construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, quality, and cost control.
  • Ability to quickly identify schedule-related conflicts and produce effective solutions.
  • Previous experience working with scheduling software, including Primavera 6.
  • MUST be able to obtain a Government of Canada Secret level clearance.

  • Fluent in both official languages (English and French).
