Job Description

The Payroll and Accounting Clerk will be responsible for various tasks including processing semi-monthly payroll, tracking sales and calculating commission, ensuring timely payroll, WCB and related remittance, updating monthly internal reports for cost control, maintaining and updating HR and accounting policies and filing system, managing asset inventory, and monitoring project budget and cost.

Responsibilities
  • Process semi-monthly payroll.
  • Track sales and calculate commission.
  • Ensure timely payroll, WCB and related remittance.
  • Update monthly internal reports for cost control.
  • Maintain and update HR and accounting policies and filing system.
  • Manage asset inventory.
  • Monitor project budget and cost.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • A two-year accounting diploma is required, with a payroll certificate being an asset.
  • One year of experience in payroll and/or accounting is preferred.
  • Excellent data analytical skills with attention to detail are essential.
  • Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks is necessary.
  • Mandarin language proficiency is mandatory, with English communication skills also required.

Compensation
