Join the team at Tim Hortons as a Food Service Supervisor, responsible for overseeing daily operations in our fast-paced food service establishment.

About the Role

This permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and develop your leadership skills. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of staff who prepare and portion food, training staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Responsibilities
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks;
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of food service counter attendants and food preparers, providing guidance and support as needed;
  • Train new hires in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and company policies;
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management decisions;
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis;
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner;
  • Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak periods;
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a related role;
  • Familiarity with food service operations and quality control procedures;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously;
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development within the company.

As a Food Service Supervisor at Tim Hortons, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and demanding physical demands, including standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
