At Fraser Health, we are seeking an experienced and results-driven Coordinator, Housekeeping Services to join our team at Surrey Memorial Hospital in Surrey, BC.

**Overview of the Role:**

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of housekeeping services and staff within designated site. This includes participating in program and service delivery, planning, implementation, and evaluation, as well as monitoring quality assurance and control imperatives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Administer housekeeping service staff by coordinating recruitment, scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.

- Develop and implement policies and procedures for housekeeping services, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and legislation.

- Participate in budget planning and management, ensuring efficient utilization of financial resources.

- Foster strong interdepartmental relationships through effective communication and collaboration.

- Conduct audits and analyze data to identify areas for improvement, developing and implementing corrective actions as needed.

- Interpret and administer collective agreements, addressing employee grievances and concerns.

**Requirements:**

We are looking for a seasoned professional with:

- A Diploma in Business Administration or a related field, plus 3+ years of experience in healthcare or a related environment.

- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing priorities.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

- Proficiency in computer software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and database programs.
