Job Title: Law Clerk

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Law Clerk to join our team at MBLAW Professional Corporation.

Job Summary:

The Law Clerk will be responsible for drafting contracts, preparing promissory notes, and drawing up wills, mortgages, and other legal documents. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Draft contracts, prepare promissory notes, and draw up wills, mortgages, and other legal documents
  • Prepare wills, real estate transactions, and other legal documents, court reports, and affidavits
  • Draft legal correspondence
  • Assist in the preparation of legal documents and reports
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications:
  • In-house training from a law firm or law clerk program
  • Pega certified professional
  • Knowledge of legal software applications and MS Office
Work Environment:

The Law Clerk will work in a non-smoking, air-conditioned office environment with a team of professionals.
