The City of Victoria's Zero Waste Planning Team is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to oversee and assess waste diversion services and policies. The ideal candidate will be a passionate advocate for waste reduction, with expertise in site coordination, materials management, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate project planning and implementation activities for municipal services related to recyclable and salvageable materials.
- Manage the work of contracted service providers involved in material collection, ensuring adherence to schedules, procedures, performance, and safety standards.
- Support the production of site operations plans, technical documents, reports, surveys, and public-facing communication materials.
The successful candidate will have 3 years of related experience, including supervisory responsibilities, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. SiteReadyBC Safety Course certification and a current Class 5 B.C. Driver's License are required.
