The Maple Reinders Group is a leading construction company that delivers innovative and sustainable building projects. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting our project managers in the delivery of exciting industrial, commercial, and institutional building projects.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist in preparing budgets and cost projections, setting up project administration files
- Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to ensure compliance with contract documents
- Select suppliers and sub-trades, obtaining quotations
- Assist in preparing and updating project construction schedules
- Develop successful relationships with clients, consultants, realtors, and developers
- Ensure site safety in accordance with regulatory requirements and corporate health and safety policy
- Attend site meetings and assist in completing project deficiencies
- Participate in closing tenders with senior managers
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 2-5 years or more experience as a Project Coordinator in the construction industry
- A University Degree/Technology Diploma in Civil Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience
