**Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing large customer projects across the Vancouver Island territory.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work unsupervised in a dynamic and high-growth environment. They will oversee all aspects of projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers to ensure exceptional service
  • Manage relationships between customers and branch offices
  • Provide clear communication between customers and involved departments
  • Attend coordination meetings and trainings as required by customers
  • Schedule and attend pre-con job site meetings for layouts, opening preps, and coordination with other trades
  • Meet with customers to clarify job site requirements
  • Assist in technical feasibility of project scope and objectives, involving relevant stakeholders
  • Provide take-offs and project details for Sales/Estimator
  • Field measure, prepare, and submit orders to factory and vendors for installation materials
  • Track ordered materials; coordinate with IC to ensure correctness and receipt
  • Prepare installation documentation and job-specific instructions for installers
  • Oversee field operations, safety, quality, and completion of work and documentation

**Requirements**

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in business management or related field, with Project Management Certification in construction industry
  • Five plus years of progressively increasing responsibility in Supervisory or Managerial position
  • Extensive knowledge of Project Management, Scheduling, and/or Construction Industry
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
  • OHSA 30 certification prior to or after start date
