Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Limited.

Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Hire food service staff
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef
Requirements:
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a coffee shop environment, which can be noisy and fast-paced. The successful candidate will be able to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
