Maintenance Scheduler Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Scheduler to join our team at McCain Foods in Grand Falls, NB. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities, including mechanical and electrical jobs, preventive maintenance, and shutdowns.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment availability.
  • Collaborate with maintenance supervisors and other team members to ensure effective execution of maintenance work.
  • Monitor and analyze maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Participate in root cause failure analysis and contribute to the development of predictive maintenance strategies.
Requirements:
  • Apprenticeship program, technical school, or Associate's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Journeyman Certificate and/or Industrial Mechanic Millwright and/or Industrial Electrician certification.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Products (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and quickly learn new systems and processes.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in maintenance or a related field.
