About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and reliable Maintenance Worker, Building to join our team at Hill Top Motel & Restaurant. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel, motel, and restaurant facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweeping and Cleaning: Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain a clean and safe environment for our guests and staff.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and ensure that all areas are kept clean and free of debris.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, drywall repair, and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to maintain a visually appealing and welcoming environment.
  • Supervision: Supervise other workers and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Heavy Lifting: Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Work Environment

As a Maintenance Worker, Building, you will work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. You will be required to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks with ease.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
