Key Responsibilities:- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
- Order parts and maintain inventory to ensure timely repairs and minimize downtime.
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, ensuring all work meets manufacturers' specifications.
- Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation, including test results and repair history.
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure.
- Service attachments and working tools, and verify and repair emission control systems.
- Perform other routine maintenance tasks as required.
- 5 years or more of experience in heavy-duty equipment maintenance.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and dependable, with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
- Physically demanding work environment, with regular exposure to heavy equipment and machinery.
- Occasional overtime required, with flexible scheduling to meet business needs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
- English is the primary language of communication, with occasional French required.
- 30 to 60 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to meet business needs.
