About the Role

This role is an excellent opportunity to join Universal Infra Ltd as a key member of our HR team, focusing on general staffing coordination. As an HR Generalist Assistant, you will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing job notices, screening applicants, and advising on employment terms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing Coordination: Identify, assess, and prioritize staffing needs; prepare and post job advertisements, and manage candidate inventories.
  • Candidate Engagement: Engage with applicants, schedule interviews, notify candidates of selection outcomes, and extend job offers.
  • Employee Support: Provide support and training to employees, including newcomers, refugees, youth, and Indigenous workers.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: A non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a related field.
Work Details
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 32-40 hours per week.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary estimated at $45,000-$55,000 per annum, based on the national average for similar positions in Canada. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
