About the Role

As a Senior Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) Specialist at KPMG, you will be part of a team that provides assurance and advisory services to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of internal audit functions, enterprise risk management programs, third-party relationships, regulatory compliance, governance, and sustainability initiatives.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with a minimum of 3 years of experience leading internal audit and/or internal control/SOX 404 projects or services. You should have a strong understanding of Canadian GAAP, IFRS, financial audit and reporting issues, as well as internal auditing standards and practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist organizations in developing SOX 404 programs and lead project management activities for SOX 404/52-109 outsourcing services.
  • Oversee and support team delivery of internal control advisory services, and lead testing and control assessment for higher-risk and complex business processes.
  • Assist organizations with developing, implementing, and executing internal audit plans and projects in an internal audit outsourcing or co-sourcing arrangement.
