Job DescriptionThe role involves:
- Producing well-structured reports outlining proposed solutions with low liability risk
- Supervising and mentoring junior engineers
- Meeting with the fire brigade and advocating performance solutions
- Using computer programs, including FDS, CFAST, and Firewind, for sensibility checking
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science with postgraduate studies in fire engineering recognized by state and federal accreditation bodies
- 5-6+ years of experience in fire engineering
You will thrive in this role if you possess effective advocacy skills, strong communication, and a mature solution-oriented approach. A passion for fire safety engineering and staying up-to-date with industry developments is essential.
