Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cash Operations Supervisor to join our team at CB Canada. This key role is responsible for overseeing the count and cash operations department, ensuring accurate and efficient execution of daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to count team members, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Supervise and monitor count operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Verify count transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare count room drop boxes, cash cassettes, and drop carts, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management, providing regular updates and reports.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements, ensuring seamless execution of daily operations.
- Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other statutory requirements.
- Monitor and report discrepancies and suspicious cash activities, taking prompt action to resolve issues.
- Perform other duties as assigned or directed, ensuring a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
Requirements
- High school diploma; post-secondary education or a suitable combination of education and experience is an asset.
- 1+ years of experience in a leadership role or people management experience in a casino or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Large cash handling experience.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- A strong mathematical aptitude, detail-oriented, and familiarity with a high-volume, fast-paced, shift-work environment.
- Strong working knowledge of computer software, including MS Office, and the ability to learn new software and systems.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication and time management skills; proactive and solution-oriented with a drive to succeed.
- Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License.
Work Environment Considerations
- Back office environment, standing or sitting for long periods of time, non-traditional work hours.
