Food Service Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to lead our kitchen team at Ultramar OTR. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and manage kitchen operations.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring timely and accurate service.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and excess.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future planning.
- Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Establish work schedules and delegate tasks effectively to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent employment with a 40-hour workweek.
- Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
