We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to join our Industrial and Mining team in Montreal, Canada. As a Project Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage project teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and manage project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure project success.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports, minutes, and records.
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including project status, progress, and issues.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and best practices.
- Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 15 years of experience in project management, preferably in the industrial or mining sector.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct project teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
- Proficiency in project management software, including MS Project, Asana, or similar tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
