We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to join our Industrial and Mining team in Montreal, Canada. - Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and manage project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Provide guidance and support to project team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver projects successfully.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for process improvements and best practices.
- Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 15 years of experience in project management, preferably in the industrial or mining sector.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks and issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management software, including MS Project, Asana, or Trello.
- Ability to travel to project sites, as required.
