Job Summary

The Blue Zones Project is seeking an experienced Organizational Lead to drive the successful advancement of our initiative in Bakersfield. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for engaging worksites, schools, restaurants, and grocery stores to adopt healthy changes and create workplace environments that promote well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strong relationships with target organizations to encourage their participation and support them in becoming Blue Zones Project Approved Organizations.
  • Drive comprehensive adoption and advancement of the Blue Zones Project community blueprint within the local community to transform well-being in worksites.
  • Actively work with the local Blue Zones Project leadership team and maintain momentum and advancement of the assigned group's strategic plans within the community.
  • Ensure coordination and integration of the organizational strategies and group initiatives to drive maximum exposure and impact.
  • Actively collaborate with the local and central Blue Zones Project team and maintain momentum and advancement of the assigned group's strategic plans within the community.
  • Develop and meet monthly targets to achieve annual progress goals.
  • Compile organization performance/value measures, outcomes, and community impact stories.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, education, or a related field.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
  • Passion for community partners' success.
  • Demonstrated awareness of inclusion and diversity issues and best practices as related to organizational engagement.
  • Experience in building and managing diverse community partnerships.
  • 5+ years of experience in education administration, program management, account management, Human Resources/Benefits/Employee Wellness.
What We Offer

A competitive salary range of $80,000-$85,000 based on experience.
