Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Working Foreman to join our team at Telecon. This full-time position is based out of Hamilton, Ontario, and offers a competitive wage along with comprehensive benefits and a pension plan through LiUNA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the installation of telecommunication cables and apparatuses to support the FTTH Civil Team
  • Ensure crew safety and adherence to safe work practices
  • Review project documentation and drawings prior to installation
  • Instruct crews on project plans and coordinate equipment requirements
  • Identify and provide training to ensure efficient completion of work
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role within the utility industry
  • Minimum 1 year in a leadership position
  • High school diploma; diploma or degree considered an asset
  • Excellent leadership, customer service, and communication skills

The estimated salary for this position is between $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
