Job Title: Civil Infrastructure Design Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Infrastructure Design Engineer to join our team at Adecco Canada. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop detailed site plans, grading plans, and layout designs for various civil engineering projects.
* Ensure designs comply with local codes, regulations, and client requirements.
* Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software to create accurate and detailed engineering drawings.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to incorporate design changes and updates.
* Contribute to stormwater management designs, including the layout of stormwater management systems and drainage infrastructure.
* Assist in the design of utility systems, including water distribution, sanitary sewer, and stormwater systems.
* Perform quantity take-offs and calculations to support cost estimates and project budgets.
* Prepare construction documents, specifications, and technical drawings for use in the bidding and construction phases.
* Prepare technical reports detailing engineering analyses, design decisions, and project recommendations.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
* Minimum of 4 years of proven Civil Engineering design experience within a consulting firm
* Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation is required
* Comprehensive understanding municipal road design
* Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant design software
* Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and design standards
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in design work
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
* Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
