About the Role

The S&OP Product Manager is responsible for defining the strategy, implementation, and live operations for all S&OP Tech products across Haleon in line with Business priorities and to maximize value for money over the lifecycle of the product.

This role is part of the Quality & Supply Chain Technology team and reports through the E2E Planning Director.

  • Accountable for all aspects of strategy, product delivery, and operations for the Integrated Business Planning products across the supply chain, inclusive of scenario planning, S&OP process, and true reconciliation of volume and value across the E2E planning process.
  • Develop a product improvement pipeline to meet business goals and objectives in the areas of Integrated Business Planning.
  • Take full accountability and provide oversight for the successful delivery of all experiments and projects within the product scope.
  • Facilitate sessions with the business to create product experiments with strong hypotheses to be tested and measurable performance improvement targets.
  • At Business Unit Level: Success will be measured by achieving the maximum value for the business while ensuring the Integrated Business Planning applications operate at an optimal cost vs risk level.
  • Provides input to Product & Data architecture, aligning across the HALEON Tech organization on standards relating to platforms, cyber security, strategic vendors, and delivery models. Ensure robust governance are in place and lead governance bodies to approve experiments and product improvement projects.
  • Implement and provide service support globally for all Integrated Business Planning products, ensuring that users are fully trained, appropriate Service Levels are defined, and service governance models are in place and in alignment with HALEON service support sourcing model.
  • Oversee overall Integrated Business Planning applications service performance ensuring that the risks and value associated with the applications are effectively managed over their lifecycle.
  • Review, communicate, and discuss applications performance with the business and service providers, ensuring that an effective communication and performance improvement framework is in place and effectively used.
  • Provide leadership & development of direct reports in line with HALEON Tech & Agile strategies. Leading matrix teams where required.
  • Ability to understand complex strategic technology solutions, assessing the full impact of deploying those solutions within the HALEON landscape, taking a leading role in facilitating the deployment of those products, and ensuring they are managed efficiently throughout their lifecycle.
  • The ability to quickly understand business processes and how they map to the Integrated Business Planning application.
  • In addition, to initiate, engage, and collaborate with the appropriate teams and stakeholders, effectively facilitating communication and feedback to ensure successful business & Technology alignment.
  • Strong Technology foundational knowledge to ensure all work is carried out in accordance with regulatory, statutory, health, and safety, and technology policies as well as meeting all the required applications standards required.
  • Ability to influence and be credible to a range of stakeholders, inclusive of external suppliers who may be reluctant in adopting a new technology solution.
  • Ability to communicate technology issues in business terms, strong business acumen, and to be able to take ownership of issues and see through to resolution.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with external service providers where appropriate (e.g., Technical Strategic Partners and Vendors).
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts within wider HALEON Technology organization (Platforms Team, Product Teams, Data Management Teams, and End Users).
  • Strong influencing, communication, team working, and stakeholder management skills at all levels within the organization.
  • Strong prioritization skills and managing multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Strong Emotional Intelligence skills to adjust to various business situations.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.

Preferred

  • Agile Methodology and Project Management
  • Technical Mastery in implementing advanced planning solutions (e.g., o9, Kinaxis, SAP IBP) to support the S&OP Process
  • Technical Mastery in managing the performance of planning applications over their Lifecycle
  • APICS or equivalent supply chain certification
