About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Delmanor Communities. As a key member of our community outreach team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with local community partners, healthcare providers, and influencers to promote our brand and drive traffic to our residences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Community Outreach: Develop and implement strategies to increase brand awareness and drive traffic to our residences through various community outreach events and activities.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with local community partners, healthcare providers, and influencers to promote our brand and services.
  • Event Planning: Plan and execute in-house lead generation and networking events to connect with potential residents and promote our brand.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication channels with internal stakeholders, community partners, and residents to ensure seamless execution of community outreach initiatives.
  • Reporting: Identify and report gaps in community outreach initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service and community relationship building experience.
  • B2B Relationships: Understanding and experience with B2B relationships, B2B prospecting, and B2B cold calling.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience working with older adults or retirement living industry.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and event planning skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple and shifting priorities.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively one-on-one and in a group setting, including public speaking.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient computer skills, including Excel, Word, and contact management software.
