HavenWorks Contracting is seeking a reliable and physically demanding Facilities Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of our properties.

Job Description:
  • Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
  • Supervise other workers
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
Requirements:
  • Will train individuals with minimal experience
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years required
  • Fitness level: physically demanding
  • Ability to work under pressure, handle repetitive tasks, and lift heavy loads
