Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Car Wash Equipment Specialist to join our team at Rubber Duck Car Wash. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our car wash equipment, ensuring that our facilities are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site repairs and maintenance at various locations, including occasional trips to Prince Edward Island to service our sites.
  • Prioritize repairs to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular checks on equipment according to established schedules, including weekly, monthly, and annual inspections.
  • Assist in the installation of new car wash equipment at various locations.
  • Work closely with outside contractors when required for repairs or installations.
  • Assist in training other team members on proper repair and maintenance procedures.
  • Effectively communicate with customers, team members, and contractors in a professional manner.
  • Support other team members and contribute to the overall success of Rubber Duck Car Wash.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in maintenance and repair, preferably with plumbing, electrical, and/or mechanical systems.
  • Experience as an Electrician, Plumber, or Millwright is beneficial, although a diploma or red seal certification is not mandatory.
  • Customer service orientation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to travel between locations and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Leadership qualities and ability to motivate and train team members.
