Job Title: Engineering/Technical Student

PCL Construction is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineering/Technical Student to join our team in Edmonton, Alberta. As an Engineering/Technical Student, you will have the opportunity to work on various construction projects, gain hands-on experience, and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Participate in project meetings to discuss project status, address concerns, and provide updates.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
  • Collaborate with project team members to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in a relevant field, such as engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other construction software.
