About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer 3 to join our team at Williams Engineering Canada. As a Technical Lead, you will play a key role in providing technical expertise and guidance to our project teams, ensuring that our clients receive high-quality solutions that meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers and technical leads to develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, reviewing reports and ensuring technical standards are met.
- Identify and implement innovative technical approaches to mechanical engineering, improving project efficiency and reducing costs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project requirements and company policies.
- Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve project outcomes.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project delivery and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- P.Eng. Status with appropriate provincial association.
- 4-6 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong background in project management and technical leadership.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, project teams, and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office 365, SharePoint, Deltek Vision, AutoCaD, and Revit MEP.
