PCL is seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented students to join our team as Engineering/Technical Students. As a student in this role, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry, working on various projects and collaborating with experienced professionals.
Responsibilities:- Assist in field engineering and technical tasks, including site visits, trade scope monitoring, and project coordination.
- Participate in project meetings and work closely with seasoned project professionals to ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop skills in Revit, AutoCAD, and Sketchup, and apply them to real-world projects.
- Contribute to the development of project schedules, specifications, and drawings.
- Collaborate with ICT specialists to model and navigate through Revit, and review specifications and drawings to ensure necessary details are being uploaded by sub-trades.
- Candidates must have a strong desire to work in a construction environment and be willing to learn and take on new challenges.
- Application of various computer software programs, including word processing, spreadsheet applications, and drafting, is required.
- Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, and Sketchup is an asset.
- Access to a clean, reliable vehicle is necessary.
