Business Development Specialist

Role Summary:
The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for processing new business implementations and changes to existing customer accounts. This role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and internal partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process new business implementations and changes to customer accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
- Respond to client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Evaluate and negotiate deadlines to meet client expectations.
- Participate in various projects and initiatives to improve business processes and customer satisfaction.
- Share knowledge and technical expertise with peers and colleagues.
- Perform research to resolve and investigate client issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Customer Service Representatives, Plan Specialists, and Client Data Solutions, to efficiently process customer data updates.
Requirements:
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required for Quebec only.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a multitasking environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of group benefits products and services.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
- Team spirit, sense of collaboration, and optimism.
