About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at GLOBAL DEVELOPMENT WORKS LTD. as a permanent employee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Administration: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports to support business decision-making.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
