The Retail Store Operations Manager plays a crucial role in the success of City Furniture (FSJ) by overseeing the daily operations of our retail stores. This is a dynamic and challenging position that requires strong leadership and organizational skills.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our stores, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in retail store management, with experience in leading teams, managing budgets, and implementing operational improvements. You will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and motivate store staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering merchandise and organizing stockroom procedures.
  • Establish and maintain high standards of store appearance, including visual merchandising and cleanliness.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to inform business decisions and optimize store performance.
  • Develop and implement operational improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in retail store management, preferably with a similar-sized organization.
  • Proven track record in leading teams, managing budgets, and implementing operational improvements.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong understanding of retail operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and customer service.
