About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives growth, brand awareness, and customer acquisition. As the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Hiive, you will lead a team of talented marketing professionals and collaborate closely with other departments to position the company as the world's leading liquidity solution and marketplace for pre-IPO stock.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Drive brand awareness and positioning, ensuring the company's brand resonates with its target audience.
  • Oversee the development and execution of effective customer acquisition and retention campaigns across various channels.
  • Conduct ongoing market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
  • Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and career development opportunities.
  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in developing and executing marketing strategies for high-growth companies, preferably with a fintech or regulation-intensive background. A strong understanding of the fintech industry and market trends is essential, along with experience scaling a foundational marketing department through managing large budgets and teams.

Requirements
  • Proven track record of success in developing and executing marketing strategies for exceptional high-growth companies, preferably with a fintech or regulation-intensive background.
  • Previous CMO experience with 20+ years in marketing, at least 10 years in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor's degree from a rigorous undergraduate institution, MBA a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities, with the ability to leverage data insights to optimize marketing strategies.
