At Western Financial Group, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Leadership Development Manager to join our team.

Job Summary

We are looking for an exceptional leader who can provide guidance and coaching to their team members, mentor and coach as needed, and champion corporate initiatives. The successful candidate will have a strong background in insurance and supervisory experience leading teams to meet sales targets.

About the Role

This is a full-time position requiring 37.5 hours of work per week. The salary range for this role is $53,000 - $73,000, depending on experience. Based in Victoria, BC, you will be working with a talented team and contributing to our mission of building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace.

Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and coaching to team members to achieve their goals
  • Mentor and coach team members, assist in training and onboarding as needed
  • Champion corporate initiatives, policies, and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and build relationships with insurance providers
  • Develop yourself through industry involvement and community participation
Requirements
  • A General Insurance Level 2 License
  • Supervisory experience leading teams to meet sales targets
  • Involvement in industry-related associations and the community
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A passion for helping people, self-driven, and determined to succeed
