**Job Overview:**

Rashmi Metaliks is seeking an accomplished Senior Sales Development Manager to drive sales growth and expand its client base in the pipe industry. The ideal candidate will possess over 5 years of experience in selling GRP, HDPE, OPVC, or DI pipes and have a deep understanding of the technical specifications, benefits, and applications of these products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets for GRP, HDPE, OPVC, and DI pipes.
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including expanding the customer base in the infrastructure, water supply, and industrial sectors.
  3. BUILD AND MAINTAIN STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY DECISION-MAKERS IN CONSTRUCTION COMPANIES, WATER UTILITIES, GOVERNMENT BODIES, AND INDUSTRIAL CLIENTS.
  4. Understand client needs, present product solutions, and negotiate contracts and terms to close sales deals.
  5. Manage key accounts by providing exceptional customer service, ensuring timely delivery of products, and addressing any post-sales issues or concerns.
  6. Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential market opportunities.
  7. Provide feedback to management regarding market conditions, competitor analysis, and potential areas for growth.
  8. Demonstrate a deep understanding of GRP, HDPE, OPVC, and DI pipes, including their applications, advantages, and technical specifications.
  9. Collaborate with the technical and marketing teams to provide customers with accurate product information and tailored solutions.
  10. Sales Forecasting and Reporting
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for management, providing insights into sales performance, pipeline status, and areas for improvement.
  • Track and report on sales activities, including customer meetings, negotiations, and closed deals.
  • Liaise with the technical teams to ensure that customer needs are met with the right products and solutions.
Contract Negotiation and Compliance
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients while ensuring profitability and compliance with company policies.
  • Ensure that all contracts and agreements comply with legal requirements and company guidelines.
Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to promote the company's product portfolio and generate new leads.Sales Performance Tracking
  • Regularly assess personal sales performance against targets and take corrective actions where necessary to meet or exceed goals.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or a related field. A master's in business administration (MBA) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in GRP, HDPE, OPVC, or DI pipes, preferably in the infrastructure, water supply, or industrial sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the technical specifications, benefits, and applications of GRP, HDPE, OPVC, and DI pipes.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to understand market trends and dynamics.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Sales Acumen: Ability to generate leads, negotiate contracts, and close high value sales deals.
