We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room department at GR Baker Memorial Hospital. As a Perioperative Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our perioperative nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and nursing practice activities within the framework of quality management.
- Collaborate with the Manager of Critical Care and Surgery to ensure effective patient care and nursing practice.
- Participate in the development and implementation of perioperative nursing education programs.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and efficient operating room environment.
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- Demonstrated clinical competence in surgical principles and procedures.
- Ability to physically perform the duties of the job.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
