Perioperative Nurse

We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team in the Operating Room department at GR Baker Memorial Hospital.
Job Summary:The perioperative nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care and nursing practice activities within the framework of quality management in accordance with the Northern Health mission statement.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care and nursing practice activities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in the Operating Room department
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
- Demonstrated clinical competence in surgical principles and procedures
- Ability to physically perform the duties of the job
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing

- Four weeks vacation with one year of continuous service
