Job Summary

The Eldorado Tools and Manufacturing Company Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Technician to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing: Prepare and process payroll statements, including gross and net salaries, deductions, and benefits.
  • Financial Data Management: Store, update, and retrieve financial data, including employee records and payroll history.
  • Human Resources Support: Provide human resources-related duties, such as personnel selection, recruitment, and onboarding.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and balance period-end reports, reconcile issued payrolls to bank statements, and compile statistics and reports.
  • Benefits Administration: Complete and submit documentation for the administration of benefits, including pension plans, leaves, share savings, employment, and medical insurance.
  • Employee Communication: Inform employees about payroll matters and benefit plans.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in payroll processing or a related field.
  • Skills: Accurate, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, organized, reliable, and team player.
