Job Summary

The House of Commons Administration is seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources Services, you will play a critical role in shaping and implementing our service delivery model for Members' HR Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain client-partner relationships with Members and their offices, delivering customized HR services tailored to individual needs.
  • Create core HR programs applicable to all parliamentary clients with common interests.
  • Offer expert advice on complex HR and labour relations cases and issues, prioritizing the protection of clients' careers, reputations, and the institution's integrity.

Requirements

  • University degree in human resource management, business administration, organizational development, or labour relations.
  • Broad experience in managing or leading HR services delivery to executives or senior officials.
  • Comprehensive experience researching and providing sound advice on the resolution of complex and sensitive HR issues and complaints.
  • In-depth and extensive knowledge of human resource management concepts, theories, and principles across multiple fields of specialization.
