HR Business Applications Senior Consultant

Position Overview:
The role of the Senior Specialist in HR Business Applications is pivotal in delivering expert guidance and support to stakeholders by translating operational needs into effective technical solutions, particularly in the realm of Human Capital Management. This includes areas such as compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, and workforce management. The position involves configuring, maintaining, and enhancing Workday and other related cloud applications, ensuring comprehensive testing and optimal functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Support and Consultation: Develop a deep understanding of clients' operational and strategic needs, providing expert recommendations to enhance processes and system configurations. Foster a seamless and collaborative experience for stakeholders, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and improve system usability. System Maintenance and Optimization: Oversee the modification and maintenance of business processes, workflows, and data management in alignment with institutional policies and governance frameworks. Address quality issues, troubleshoot system bugs, and ensure data integrity across various HR and financial applications. Change Management: Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives and manage transitions to new business practices, ensuring that changes are implemented smoothly and effectively across the organization.Qualifications:
A degree in Commerce, Administration, Business Technology Management, or a related field, along with relevant experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience in supporting business units and their system requirements. Familiarity with Workday is advantageous. Comprehensive knowledge of HR business processes, policies, and regulations. Experience in project management and change management practices. Proficiency in data management tools and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting. Strong analytical skills to translate business needs into functional specifications. Ability to adapt to evolving requirements and collaborate effectively with diverse teams. Bilingual proficiency in French and English is preferred.This position plays a crucial role in enhancing administrative efficiency and service quality, directly contributing to strategic decision-making and the overall success of the organization.
