Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Bilingual Human Resources Consultant with over 10 years of experience specializing in job classification. This role is crucial for our esteemed Public Sector client, who requires expertise in reorganizing, reviewing, and updating executive job descriptions to align with ongoing internal organizational transformations.

Key Responsibilities

The primary aim of this engagement is to:

  • Create new and/or update existing executive job descriptions, ensuring they accurately depict the responsibilities performed by current incumbents.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams and senior leadership to address the challenge of outdated job descriptions within the organization.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a classification expert, with substantial knowledge in defining roles and responsibilities for senior executives.
  • Fluency in both English and French.
Consultation Process

The consultant will engage in discussions with a working group that includes the HR team, Classification team, and senior leadership members to evaluate several outdated executive job descriptions. Amendments will be discussed to either update existing descriptions or create new ones when significant changes are necessary.

Project Timeline

The review and/or creation of a job description is expected to be completed within 2-3 business days, with a total project duration of approximately 45 business days.
