AXA XL is seeking a highly skilled Senior Underwriter to join our Middle Market team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for underwriting new and renewal business, developing and maintaining broker relationships, and supporting the growth of our Middle Market business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Underwrite new and renewal business, ensuring profitable premium and rate goals are met
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, identifying their marketing and education needs
  • Collaborate with the underwriting team to deliver high-quality service and meet business targets
  • Act as a representative of AXA XL, attending industry events and functions
  • Meet with brokers to set annual targets and monitor P&L against plan
Requirements:
  • Extensive Middle Market insurance experience, with a strong understanding of insurance product offerings
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a customer-focused approach
  • Ability to build and maintain robust insured and broker contacts
  • Collaborative team player with creative problem-solving skills
