Pharmacy Manager Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day Pharmacy Dispensary operations, ensuring the safe and efficient receipt, preparation, packaging, dispensing, distribution, and storage of drugs and pharmaceuticals.
  • Provide clinical leadership, including drug use evaluation, medication reviews, adaptations, injection administration, prescription and non-prescription counseling, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community partners to drive business growth and patient satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory, team member scheduling, training, and development.
  • Identify and capitalize on business strengths and patient needs to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Develop and implement business growth strategies and plans to drive success.
  • Ensure adherence to policies and best practice protocols relating to pharmacy practice and drug distribution.
Requirements:
  • A Canadian Pharmacist in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
  • Completion of the mandatory BC Community Pharmacy Manager Training Program (BC only).
  • Completion of the Opioid Agonist Treatment Compliance and Management Program (OAT-CAMPP).
  • Injection Certification.
  • Minimum 1 year Pharmacist experience.
