About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Painter Specialist to join our team at Northcan Construction Ltd. as a key member of our exterior finishing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth finish and optimal paint adhesion.
  • Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings, using appropriate materials and techniques.
  • Mix paint to the desired color and texture, taking into account factors such as lighting conditions and surface type.
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, ensuring a precise and professional finish.
  • Advise clients on colors and choice of wall coverings, considering factors such as style, durability, and maintenance requirements.
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, using a range of techniques and tools.
Work Environment

As a Construction Painter Specialist, you will work outdoors, underground, at heights, and in environments with odors. You will be required to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in environments with odors.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
  • Client-focused and team-oriented approach.
  • Flexibility and reliability in meeting deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment.
