About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Painter Specialist to join our team at Northcan Construction Ltd. as a key member of our painting and finishing crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth finish and optimal paint adhesion.
  • Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings to create a seamless surface for painting.
  • Mix paint to the desired color and texture, taking into account the specific requirements of each project.
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, ensuring a precise and professional finish.
  • Advise clients on colors and choice of wall coverings, providing expert recommendations to enhance the aesthetic appeal of their properties.
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, working efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines.
Work Environment

As a Construction Painter Specialist, you will work outdoors, underground, at heights, and in environments with odors. You must be comfortable working in a variety of settings and be able to adapt to changing conditions.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the painting and finishing trade.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work at heights.
