About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Edmonton Construction. As a Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks and holes.
  • Mix paint to the desired color and texture.
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging as needed.
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Ensure a high level of quality and attention to detail in all work.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the trade.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment.
  • Physical stamina to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
Work Environment

As a Painter with Edmonton Construction, you will work in a variety of locations, including residential and commercial sites. You will be required to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
