About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Painter Specialist to join our team at Ikon Homes. As a key member of our interior finishing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in our residential projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth finish and optimal paint adhesion.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the integrity of our buildings.
  • Painting and Finishing: Mix paint to the desired color and texture, and apply it to interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and trim.
  • Wall Covering Installation: Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, ensuring a precise and professional finish.
  • Customer Service: Advise customers on colors and choice of wall coverings, providing expert recommendations to enhance the aesthetic appeal of our homes.
  • Estimation and Planning: Estimate costs and materials required for each project, and plan work schedules to ensure timely completion.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding work, requiring attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Work Conditions: Willing to travel, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet deadlines.
