About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Member Services Representative to join our team at Meridian. As a key member of our retail banking team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, promoting our products and services, and building strong relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide superior member experience through the identification and promotion of products and services
  • Demonstrate perseverance in difficult situations by showcasing understanding to members' perspectives and creating action plans to resolve their concerns
  • Ensure proper due diligence by posting all transactions accurately and timely
  • Maintain discretion and confidentiality to respect members' privacy
  • Participate in branch activities in support of expanding the member relationship and growing our Digital Ambassador Program
Requirements
  • Previous work experience in a customer service role, with cash handling experience as an asset
  • High School diploma or relevant working experience
  • Flexibility to work all scheduled hours, including some evenings and Saturdays
  • Proven understanding of computer systems and programs, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Effective organizational time management and problem-solving skills
